VIDEO: Nothing to see here, just a RAT HAVING A SHOWER!!!!!

UPDATE: Apparently this rat is not a rat but a Pacarana, a rare and slow-moving rodent indigenous to South America. However, in the wild, (without the soap of course), they do look like they're bathing as can be seen in the second video below.

Nothing to see here, just a RAT HAVING A SHOWER... like a human!
The rat was captured lathering it up in a bathroom sink in Peru standing up on its hind legs and washing his armpits, neck, lips, butt...

Inside Canada’s largest privately-owned nuclear fallout shelter (Facebook Video)

"... some things last and some things don't. ... we got these big jugs of V8 juice and after they got 10 years old they went completely black and so I drank a whole jug of V8 juice that was black and over 10 years old. You know, it didn't hurt me. It didn't taste good but I could drink it. And if you're starving that's the difference maybe between life and death."

Great featured article from the National Post

How a Canadian built a DIY nuclear bunker from 42 buried buses and plenty of concrete

Fires, floods, thieves, rodents: The elderly couple has survived all manner of calamity in recent weeks, except for the one disaster they have actually been preparing for over the past 50 years — a nuclear war. Beach is the founder of Ark Two, a privately owned, 10,000-square-foot nuclear fallout shelter, sunk beneath several metres of concrete and soil on a 12.5 acre parcel of land near his home. And, yes, the 83-year-old is accustomed to being dismissed as a “kook.”
But maybe he’s onto something. - National Post

LOOK: A Rare and Recent Video Capturing the Streets of North Korea's Capital City, Pyong

(Video snapshot)

With all the news going on about North Korea lately, seeing this rare and recent Facebook video footage, (shot by Foreign Editor, YLE's Asian correspondent, Mika Mäkeläinen) of the streets of the country's capital city, gives us a glimpse into the daily life, the roads and city landscape there.

(Video snapshot)

I was so intrigued by the video that I was constantly stopping and starting, to take snapshot images of the things I found interesting. For example, I was curious as to what that huge monument in the middle was - so I had to look it up.

Eventually, he was caught.
According to Lakeland Police, he probably would have gotten away with it too - if it wasn't for the video posted on Facebook.

Niagara Falls Comic Con Mannequin Challenge (Facebook Video)

Video snapshot

Seems we got our own #mannequinchallenge going on here in Niagara - Comic Con-style...

From Niagara this Week:

NIAGARA FALLS — The Mannequin Challenge seems like something that’s tailor-made for Niagara Falls.
With its numerous wax museums populated with movie stars and the famous — or sometimes infamous, real people frozen in poses seems, well, natural.
And it seems a lot of people agree.
The organizers of Niagara Falls Comic Con answered the call for the challenge currently sweeping the Internet all while promoting the annual event that draws thousands to the city each June.
The call was put out for cosplayers to gather at Table Rock for the challenge, and the resulting video has taken off. A video of the challenge posted to Niagara Falls Comic Con’s Facebook page Saturday night has already generated 120,000 views and shows no signs of slowing down.

“The idea was to come up with a video in response to all of the other mannequin challenges on the Internet, but we wanted to do something a little bit different,” said Chris Dabrowski, who came up with the idea and produced the video. “Including more than 15 cosplayers from Princess Leia to Deadpool, from Thor to Eleven (Stranger Things), we think we accomplished that goal.  And what better backdrop for a video than Niagara Falls,” he added.
